Post subject: Lights on car audio/heating panel don't work

So, I recently acquired a 1998 Subaru Legacy Station Wagon. When I went to start it up, I saw that everything worked fine except for the lights on the Car audio/heating panel.

The interesting thing is that on the panel, half the lights work and the other doesn't. The left half side of the panel does not turn on, however the right side turns on perfectly well.

What do I do? Do I just have to replace the bulb that backlights the panel or do I have to replace a fuse? I'm looking for a solution without bringing it to a dealer because they charge a lot more.
