Ehhh, if he wants something worthwhile he should shove an 03-04 Cobra
motor in it. It would eat that LS1 like a snack.

I don't care about the motor but he says that GM designing a distributor-
based system for the LS1 caused him to really want to build one. Why?

Other than that I notice the Ford crate engine prices are through the roof
these days and you can get an LS1 for under $4k. I guess that's not bad for
a 350 bhp small block if you want a new motor.

But a distributor? Why?

Someone on one of the forums that I frequent is putting a Toyota Supra
2JZGTE engine in his 1997 Firebird. He said he is doing it to piss off
both the import tuners and the big block freaks. Another reason was
that he wanted to keep his car a V6...
