Thanks to everyone who chimed in on my recent threads about the Impreza
& Los Angeles Subaru dealers. I found a 2006 Impreza 2.5i wagon for my
wife at Thousand Oaks Subaru & over the phone negotiated a pretty good
price, $17,650 + tax & title. Not bad given the $19,720 MSRP. My wife
picked the car up last night & she loves it. The dealer was very
helpful, even picking my wife up at the Burbank airport where she had
to drop off her rental (Budget would not allow her to drop the car
anywhere else), a 34 mile drive & during the evening rush hour no less.
All and all a very good experience; I may never buy a car in person
again!

Thanks again to alt.autos.subaru, a very friendly & helpful group!

David
