The Kia Optima, Sonata's "sister car" appears to be missing from all
the newspaper new car ads by the Kia dealers.

Has Kia stopped producing this car?

Still shown on their web page. Perhaps they are low in inventory while the
new 08 models are getting here?

Pretty sure it is not. It probably would have made sense to build
the Optima in the Montgomery plant since the Sonata and Santa Fe are
barely keeping the plant running at 50%.

Montgomery could use one or two more models. Maybe the 4cy Sonata
will help some with that.

Anyway, the Optima plant in GA is still under construction but things
have been delayed due to the scandals in Korea and the fact the Optima
is not exactly selling that well anyway.
