Date: 2007-09-13, 4:40AM PDT

1988 Lamborghini replica made by Prova. Built by a professional Florida builder as a closeup car for the movie Speed Zone, but never actually used in the movie. Excellent condition mechanically and visually.

This is a very unique vehicle that creates buzz and excitement wherever it is seen. Built on a custom tube-frame chassis using 1.5" square tube steel. It's based on a Can-Am racing design and is super light and strong. The Prova design replicates actual car dimensions down to the millimeter. Unlike a Fiero re-body kit, the Prova cannot be distingished from the real thing to 99% of observers. Enjoy the benefits of low-cost maintenance (Chevy 350 vs. Lamborghini 48-valve V12) while reaping the rewards of driving a car that most people can't tell from the real thing!

The 350 Chevy engine was installed new when car was built, and has been built up with performance cam, pistons, carb and rockers. Previous owner dyno'd @ 418 hp. Rear end reinforced with upgraded shock mounts and camber bar. Original Prova design had a weakness in this area.

Pearl White w/ black leather interior
Several authentic Lamborghini parts, including leather seats, air intakes, windshield wiper, glass, badges, lenses, etc.
Chevy 350 V8 installed new when car was built. Only 3036 miles on engine and car
A/C
Reinforced rear suspension w/ camber bar
Sony premium sound system
Yokohama AVS tires, correct 345-35 ZR15 rear - 90% tread
Centerline 500 aluminum wheels (12" width rear, 8" front)
SuperTrapp exhaust
Electric Doors
Renault R50 5-speed transaxle
Anniversary edition rear end upgrade
Twin radiators, alternators and batteries (new)

$28,500 obo

Hi Dean. I'm the guy selling the Prova. I assume you're the same Dean from BC I've emailed?

I just put some new pics and sound clips on the web site. If anyone is interested, check it out at: http://www.electronjons.com/countach

Also, the Prova chassis # is 003437. How tall are you anyway? The Countach interior is fairly snug.

I have an original deluxe prova kit for sale. My brother and I ordered it in '88 and waited 6 months for delivery. During that six months. I had a baby, got married and moved to another state. The kit has been in storage ever since.
We have both hoped to have the opportunity to build the car, but other priorities take the lead. I'm up to four kids now with that first one in college.
The kit is in New Jersey. We did buy a 911 transaxle and have the ring gear flipped to run a chevy 350 with it. The kit has the full frame, suspention, steering, interior, glass, and some smaller parts also.
If anyone is interested, send me an email and I'll be happy to talk about it.
Greg
