Hi i own a 94 falcon and lately when i try to start the car nothing
happens the ignition lights stay on but the motor doesn't turn
over.Checked the battery and it's in good condition,if i keep turning
the key after a few goes the car eventually starts.
Any ideas what maybe causing this.
Thanks in advance.

If it's an auto check the wiring to the inhibitor (neutral
lockout) switch hasn't come off the trans or that the switch has
not failed.

Hi Blue,

The car is an auto and if i play around with the gear selector the car
does start,so you may be right about the switch.
Thanks for your help.

Also check the linkages are aligned correctly; so the trans is
actually in park when the lever is in park.
