Anyone have specs on the screws used to hold the idle air control valve to the throttle body? pitch, threads, bolt diameter, etc.? Trying to replace with hex bolts. Thanks, Michael

One good thing, I guess, about monkeying around the throttle body and idle air control valve, was that I discovered two additional coolant hoses that I'd missed. I'd already changed the top and bottom radiator hoses, and 3 coolant hoses going to the heater core, but I'd neglected to change the two..

Hello, First of all, I've already replaced the idle air control valve. That's not the problem. The last 3 mornings (first start of the day), the motor starts normally, then the "check engine" light flickers, and then the idle goes from about 750rpm to 1500rpm! It stays there for maybe 30 seconds,..

I've been told i need a new IAC unit, but I want to try cleaning the one I have first. Unfortunately, I can't locate the idle valve, and my manual has been no help on this front. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
