Post subject: Honda cuts out (like not getting gas)

My son bought a 89(?) Honda and it was running great for about a day then suddenly cut out and wouldn't start. Had it towed to the shop and they replaced the fuel cut off switch. Went to pick it up and it cut out again in front of the shop. The next day it started and was running fine but about 15 miles down the road cut out again. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
