Curious if anyone has tried any aftermarket Catalytic Converter parts? Been studyin it abit online as our 1999 Honda CRV has a p0420 code... Factory Honda part is atleast a whopping $550 minimum. If I replace the catalytic converter with an universal one, (only because I can save a ton of money vs buying original Honda. does anyone know if this will keep or clear the check engine light? Honda dealer is saying it may or may not since it's not the original.
