There is about 50 HP in a gallon of gas, 60 HP in a gallon of diese, about 40 in a gallon of propane and about 30 in a gallon of alchol. To get 120 MPG with a gas egine you would need a car that could cruise on 1/10 of a HP at speed because a gas engine is about 28% effeceint at best so you could only consume 4 tenths of a hp of gas per mile traveled to develope the 1/10 hp needed. Simple physics here.

Hello All,

In his defense, give him a chance to explain. The only diffence in a 30mpg car and a 120mpg car is the conversion between taking that gallon of gas making more mechanical energy and making less heat. I am willing to hear him out. Using a conventional engine, It don't make sense but I am willing to listen. If the design is credible, the engine would make almost no heat. Can this guy explain? Maybe so, I am all ears.
