I never have more fun than when I can take my Subaru on unpaved roads. The
Subaru just seems at home there more than on paved roads. Unfortunately I
live in Eastern MA and there are not too many unpaved roads in the area, at
least that I know of. Any suggestions, my B9 Tribeca is starting to feel
unloved. Thanks.

Steven

If you were in Oregon, I could help. Too bad too, as I live on miles of
unpaved roads. Gets old when you can't avoid them, but otherwise can be a
real blast! (-;

Used to be some nice stuff "inland" in the Glouchester/Rockport
(pardon if I didn't spell that right) area; old quarrys -n- such. That
was years ago, and the greenies have probably got it declared
wilderness or something since then, but might be worth a look.
Otherwise, get topo maps and start investigating interesting-looking
roads; sometimes you'll find the damnedest things if you actually go
there and look.
Ask hunters and rock climbers, too; often they travel the more remote
areas lookin' for fun.

ByeBye! S.
