Hi
I have a Ford Falcon GL (from Ford Australia) and find the clutch very
hard, which means that in traffic it is uncomfortable.

Any suggestions out there what may be wrong?

regards
kim

Aussie Ford Falcons always had a heavy clutch.
however you may need to change the clutch cable, if it has
begun to fray inside could be binding up.
Ford dont give much of a warrantee on their clutches.

Also check the firewall hasn't cracked where the clutch cable
enters the engine bay.

Good point same thing happened to me in the middle of a Sydney
rush hour..

Luckly did a running repair using 12mm tie down rope, duct tape
and zip/cable ties which just got me the 40 kliks home..

Looked like a demmented spiders web under the bonnet..

I had the same problem in my XH Ute. Fixed it by welding a washer into
the firewall. Worked a treat and haven't had a drama since.
