Hi Ed.
If it's just the standard CD/radio, then removal is straight forward. 4
terminal screwdrivers pushed into the holes then pull out the radio. You
can, of course, get the correct tool!
You will need to get a surround adaptor for the facia from a car audio shop,
such as

I think the wiring is slightly different for most radios, you may need an
adapter. I just rewired the plug to suit the radio I bought. A multi-meter
helps if you have or can borrow one!
Be careful of radios that protrude at the front (mine does) as this makes
the little cup holder above the radio useless- if that is important!
