Post subject: Fuel pump in malibu 2003

hi
My malibu couldnt start completely (except for that sound of the engine starter it was going on) so I took it to the dealer and there I was realy surprised because they couldnt recognize the problem!!
Then I used to till them (how selly they are!) that the fuel pump might cause such a problem becasue one of my friends having a VENTURE have experienced the same symptoms...
They changed it and every thing then seemed to be OK.
I wounder what's next ??!!!

The question is :
I am a student of medicine in my 4th year and I have no time to waste with my car ,,,, and I feel that this car is a bit problematic as if there were a CANCER moving from one part in it to the other ....
and I have read too much about the problems of this car from this forum..

SHOULD I GET RID OF IT ?
I am realy thinking of a CAMRY OR AN ACCORD ... WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST ???

I had a fuel pump go out on my 2003 with less than 50,000. Luckily I found a shop that did the replacement for around $400.

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

I don't know there DaWood. If you are taking up oncology, then perhaps
a metastasized Malibu is what you need to practice on. An attitude
change is in order. As a doctor you need to embrace problems, not run
away like a kitty.
