i got the car jacked up, tire off.. but the filter is behind this hard plastic panel that i cannot remove. its an 87 CRX HF. also, the service manual says taht i need to relive fuel pressure by turning the service nut 1/2 rotation. how is this accomplished with that hard plastic panel in the way? ..

can anyone provide information on the replacement of a fuel filter on a 2000 elantra(location,tools req,etc).?
« It should be located on the left frame rail under the hood near the transmission mount. You'll need a 10mm socket, ratchet, and extension, and a 17mm wrench or socket. »

How do I release the pressure in the gas line before replacing the filter? Thanks
