This message applies to anyone living in the Province of Ontario,
Canada, anywhere between approximately Detroit and Toronto, with a Fiero
or parts of a Fiero as described below.
I recently sold my 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT which I had owned since it was
new to a guy near Brantford, Ontario, Canada who rebuilds cars as a
hobby. He has found that my GT is the better of the two GTs he has
acquired for the rebuild project and he will use my car as the basis for
the rebuild and the other as a parts car
Still, both cars have a problem of frame rust from the motor grill
covers on back, especially around the shock towers.
I understand that the rust may be repairable but he prefers to find
someone who can sell a worn-out car with a good frame from the rear on
back. I presume he is referring to the space frame being rusted and not
just to the motor cradle.
