Hello all,

I did some surfing to find out if the BG44K and other BG products are
any good?
I couldn't find any Volvo related opinions.
Did you guys try that before?
They have a Power Steering product, a transmission product to be used
with a power flush fo the tranny. And several other products for the
cooling system and the air conditioner too.

Also, do you advise to do a tranny power flush with the machine at a
mechanic or a dealer or just drain plug fluid change sort of thing?

And, the same question goes for the power steering? If yes to flush in
general, a power flush or how to flush it while there is no drain plug
on the power steering? I hope there is pictures for this or something.

Thanks very much.

Forgot to mention that my car is 1988 Volvo 740 GLE.
The car is doing low 20s and upper mid 20s in city and highway driving
but failed Emission in MD in the Nox.
Some people are suggesting a Catalytic converter change. I have tilted
the distributor to lag the timing but still that didn't help much.

So, use it in the Gasoline tank and then change my oil after the tank
is finished. Is that what you would suggest?
I have heard people saying that this stuff cleans the carbon deposits/
build up in the combustion chambers and valves, and consequently
reduces emissions. Is this true?

My power steering fluid is very dark. I try to dump the reservoir
several times and add in a couple of quarts in there but that doesn't
do much. There is also a filter for both the transmission and power
steering sold at IPD USA website, do you advise to use it?

Both these use the BG transmission flush can. But at a Ford dealer
(closest store to me selling those cans) the mechanic there said you
can't drive the car with the can in the transmission since it will
ruin your transmission if driven on it.
