One pick only, who is your favorite current Funny Car Driver?

Mine is Scott Kalitta because I got his autograph at Indy, I think he would
be a blast to drink a few brews with, and he had a great quote after winning
a round which had been rather rare; "Now my crew has something to do other
than clean up." Hilarious!

I love John Force. He is a trip, but at the same time he is a great
ambassador for the sport. What a terrible year it was for his team.
They felt bad about Eric and the whole NHRA fan base was greiving.
I can't begin to tell you how much it means when he fusses over my son
in Commerce, GA which he has done the past two years that he has went.

But...If I could pick a second, it would be Cruz, for the very same
reason I love Dixon in TF, Cruz was out there during the rain delay in
front of his spot inviting fans to come and get autographs. That
was classic.

Some guys get it.

Don Prudhomme. I've seen him smoke the tires for the full
quarter mile and not lose control. He is the most amazing
F/C driver I've ever seen. He's just so quick and gathering
a car in after it gets out of shape. I should say "was".

Of all the current pro drivers, Force used to be my favorite. Though, as of
the past few years, I cant take him any more. When he gets his interview I
just mute the TV or change the channel for a while. Not to mention, the
Driving Force show and all the family dramatics at the starting line when he
or Ashley races. I had a few friends over to have snacks and watch a few
races this past season. When the camera shots of the panicked family would
came on when Ashley got out of shape one of my friends blurted out; "what
the hell is this a drag race or a flaming family affair". LOL. I've also
gotten sick of hearing Force puke out sponsors.

So... I'm going to have to dig up a few old favorites. The Snake, Gordie
Bonin, and Jungle.

If I had to pick an active driver now, I'd pick Kenny Bernstien or Tolliver.

My all-time favorite is Dean Skuza.

I like Mike Neff. He's a current driver I think he'll do just fine once he
gets past the learning curve.
