Engine Swap???? - I have a 97 Ford E350 Super Duty, Econline, Club Wagon. Which is modified with a box and lift-gate on the back. One of the exhaust valves is bad and I have 1.5 years before another smog test is due and I won't be able to drive it unless I fix it or sell

engine replacement - I have a 69 f250 that has a 7.3 liter IH diesel engine that is blown. I have a 93 f250 with a 7.3 liter diesel in it that runs great. Can the 93 engine be placed in the 89??

How to determine engine size - My son just bought a 73' f-250 with a rebuilt in it. I'm a chevy guy, so I can't just glance at the motor and know the block type. How can I tell what it is?

Ranger engine cuts out when hot - '99 Ranger 4.0L - After driving for a while (warm engine) the motor will start cutting out (just for half second, enough to lurch a bit) somewhat randomly. Someone suggested the plug wires were bad but I replaced them about 5 years ago. Is it most..

Check Engine Light - 1996 Ranger - I have a check engine light that will not go out. I've had it checked by a who reset it and the light did go out for a day or so when it I'm at the point where I find the fuse and remove it, but I'm wondering if this is a common..

My 1994 F350 7.3l turbo diesel quit ( check engine light was on) on me
a couple of months ago.
The engine cranked fine but would not start. I tried several times in
the following weeks until one day it started and ran fine (no check
engine light). I let it idle for about and hour and then changed the
oil.(3050mi) I took a chance and drove it to the nearest garage and
had a diagnostic done. Codes were P0603, P0236,P0340 and P1211. Other
then CPS (P0340) would any of the other codes cause a total failure
like I experienced?

Yes 1211 could be the injection pressure regulator. Check the
wires to it. It is located down in the valley down low, front drivers side
of engine. If wires look ok R&R valve. Also P0603 is loss of battery power
to the PCM. Which may have been caused buy cranking the engine a lot.
1211 can also be caused by low fuel pressure.
