Post subject: El falcon wont start after Diag Test on Ignition Timing

Hi All,
Having a problem with the EL falcon, it will not start at all but will turn over.
Explain Whats going on, I have just finished doing a service, oils, filters and general look over etc when I wanted to check the ignition timing. According to the Gregorys manual the procedure is this.
ignition off, connect timing light, connect a jumper lead between terminal A and B on the diagnostic plug, this would be the far left top and bottom pins that require bridging. Start the engine which should increase to 1300 - 1600RPM, wait for 2 minutes until engine has smoothed out. The book clearly ask you to wait for 2 minutes after the engine is smooth, then check the ignition timing. I was waiting for the 2 minutes to be up when the engine stopped, now it will not start.
The engine will turn over but thats it, have not checked diagnostic codes if any yet, can anyone say this has happened before and how to fix the problem.
Thank you
The Boy Crying or Very sad

Apologies if you already checked the obvious but are the fuses ok?
Particularly fuel pump?
Possible there was a short on the wrong diag pins (saw a friend do it once
and it did the fuel pump fuse)
