Just bought an e65 745i and was wondering, what indication comes up if the
car starts to overheat. Does the warning system 'bong' to warn you or do get
some sort of bargraph display (like the range indication) to let you know
how hot things are or does the perimeter of the tacho just light up and
increment as the temp goes up.

TIA

Paul

The needle in the temp gauge moves to the right into the red zone.

on most models a warning light comes one (if all else fails read the
instructions / RTFM)

probably you will get a warning either audio (tones / announcement) and / or
visual (message in check control display).

In addition the electric fan will come on (and if you are stationary with a
window open, it will be fairly audible).

Oi! The E65 dos not have any DIALS only the rev counter and speedo so please
show me the temperature gauge or in your case gage.
