Hi I have changed the drive shaft on my Sonata from 1993 with manual gearbox. And in that operation a little of the transmission oil leaked. There do I fill new oil on? Best regards Brian
« There is a 17mm hex plug on the front of the transmission. Add 75w-90 gear oil until it begins to run out the hole. »

Re: 1988 Camry 4 cyl station wagon: The RH strut and CV half-shaft were worn out. I got the new CV half-shaft connected to the drive shaft, no problem. However I had to get a coil spring compression tool to re-compress the spring. Its the usual hex-head adjusting bolts and four clamp "hooks"...
« Never mind....I located my Camry manual and I screwed up byremoving the strut assy without removing the shock support (three nuts holding it in). Shouldn't have even tackled that job without the .. »
« Problem may be with Pep Boys and not the "spring tension" I suspect. BTW, the front mount rotates in a slanted plane and can be off but still be mounted. So with the bolts on the mounts, upper sprin.. »

Im trying to change the rear flexible coupling on my 91 300E. I have all the bolts removed but im unable to move the drive shaft foward to extract the disk. Any advise on how to get the disk out? Thanx GG

Another question arising from the '95 Altima half shaft project. What kind of lubrication should be put on the drive shaft splines before sliding it into the knuckle?

it started to vibrate a couple of days ago.everyone i talked to said to replace the u joints.i also noticed the seal where the drive shaft comes out of the transfer case was leaking.to make it a little shorter i changed the u joints and was going to change the seal but was sold the wrong part so i..
