The handbook for my Toyota says that diesel fuel used should be low sulfur
with a Cetane Number 48 or higher. Does anyone have information as to
whether this low sulfur-level diesel is generally available in France?
Thanks

They run more diesels in Europe than the US so I bet there is no shortage of acceptable fuel.

All diesel should be low-sulfur since July 2003 according to EU-law.
There were some difficulties until 2004, but now there should be no
problems.

Thanks for your information - I was pretty sure it was OK, but reading
through the handbook (I've just got the car new) there were dire warnings,
so I though I had better check it out. Thanks again.
