My Suburban (2500, 3/4 ton) has a problem with the dashboard lights. It used to be that they would light up (resetting as though I had turned the car on) every time we hit a big bump. Now it happens intermittently even when small vibrations are felt.
The lights that reset are the message center, speedometer, tachometer, brake, fuel gage, and seatbelt, among others. The oil, temperature, and voltage meters do not reset.
Obviously there is an electrical problem somewhere, but I don't know if it is exacerbated by a suspension problem or something else.
I am interested in ideas from someone more knowledgeable than I about what this could be.
