I was just wondering about my struts when I hit a small hole it feels pretty
rough like a hard bounce @ 106,000 plus
Has any one diy the struts on a 2000 Outback ? is it a doable project ?

Sure is but you need tools like a spring compressor.

K&N for Outback - I have a 97 Outback wagon automatic. Since I can't get a cold air intake for the car, I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience replacing just the air filter -- performance, mileage, etc. In other words, will it pay for itself over time....
