REPLY: It was great visiting the Bowling Green factory a couple years
ago to watch them being assembled. I was told at the very end of the
tour that less than 2 % of the entire run has problems which means
they immediately go to a designated area for repair....and about 1%
fail the waterproof test in the water spraying tunnel. The factory
workers can be proud of the fact that the C6/7 corvette now competes
as a world class Exotic .

The speed channel ran a film showing the production of the Z06 that was
interesting. It was 1 hour long and showed the whole process from the
beginning. It repeats often so if you have the Speed channel---check it
out.
