I couldn't believe it. I sure hope Norwalk is upgraded in a big way, it
was kind of pitiful the last time I went to the "Night of Fire".

I've never been to Columbus OR Norwalk myself. I went to the Norwalk
website earlier and saw an article that said they plan to do four
million dollars worth of improvements, so maybe that'll help.

I thought that at one time NHRA owned National Trail. Am I wrong about
that? Do they own it now?

It says
on their website that they're doing a $4million renovation.

The new event next year - will make the U.S. Nationals the 7th from last event. Will they change the countdown or not have Indy involved in the final 8? Or do they want it to be the deciding event to get into the countdown?

Columbus Guesses - Columbus; \ We've been there. Parking is in farm fields adjacent to track, flat and a cow pie. Fields turn into a quagmire of black mud after a rain. Farm boys get rich pulling you out with their 4X4. Track always seems slick at the big end, I think....

Lowes event is official - http://www.nhra.com/content/news/26413.htm Looks like a football stadium.

Amazing finish. - Alan Johnson rules.

new point system - Would anyone care to explain the new point system to me? Thanks in advance, Geezer Jay ;-) (prock & howell) --
