What is the best thing to use to clean or restore the black(ebony)
surfaces(doors and dash) on my 2005 C6? The manual says to use mild soap and
water and not to use anything with silicone. After soap and water it still
looks sort of dull and drab.
Thanks in advance!

Are you saying that you WANT glaring reflections off the dash in the

I look at other same vintage cars and their engines are sparking clean. And while I'd like the same...

1977 Weatherstripping - Hey, I have a '77. The weatherstripping around the main doors are allowing a lot of wind noise. Ordering new ones soon. Any tips on replacing them as I'm afraid to end up with more wind noise than I started with by perhaps putting it off too..

Oil - The new oils are rated for 15,000 miles................why change any earlier.....????????????
