Post subject: Car stopped suddenly --- during driving after jump-starting.
My 2000 Toyota Camry would not start on an evening so I presumed it was a battery problem and had the AAA guy come over and jump-start the car. He looked under the hood and told me the battery was leaking and needed a quick replacement. He jumpstarted it anyway. I was later driving on the highway when everything shut down. I parked in the break-down lane and had the car towed; everything was off except the panic lights and the light inside. Later got the battery replaced and is running fine but am wondering if there is anything else to consider. Considering the battery is used to start the car am still perplexed why the car died on me suddenly at 60 MPH. Any inputs will appreciated. Thanks.
