Tonight we saw an old episode of the Beverly Hillbillies that featured
George Barris' "Jethro's Hot Rod" (the hot rod version of their familiar
family truck). At the beginning of this episode, Jethro brings home a
great yellow custom rod with two long tangs sticking out several feet in
front of the front tires, The top of the rod openned staight up and back
like a clam shell to reveal the driver's seat.
Does anyone remember this episode and know anytyhing about the yellow
custom car? Hopefully, the fact that it was the episode that introduced
George Barris' "Jethro Hot Rod" should make it an easy episode to identify.
