Any idea where I can find the wiring diagram of the "oil" lamp in a 73
Regal? The bulb is good and I get no "lamp test" when cranking on that
indicator. The other lamps, temp, alt and such work.

What happens if you ground the wire on the sender? The bulb should light
then.

Al,

The "OIL" lamp doesn't bulb test via a ground from the ignition
switch in the Start position. The OIL light should come on as soon as
the ignition switch is turned to the ON position without the engine
running.

I suspect that oil pressure switch is defective OR the wiring to the
switch is damaged. Assuming this Regal is a 350 V-8, the switch is on
the oil filter adaptor at the front of the engine. Disconnect the wire
from the switch and ground it - the light should light with the
ignition switch on. If it does, the switch is bad - if it doesn't you
have a wiring problem.
