Post subject: Brake replacement ('04)
Archived from groups: alt>autos>toyota>prius (more info?)

At 50k miles the front pads look new, but two of the
rear shoes seem very thin for some reason. It all looks
conventional and suitable for a DIY.

I can buy shoes at NAPA for $25 or so, arc them and turn
the drums myself.

Is there anything unusual about the Prius that I should
know? And has anyone posted a How-To online?

Thanks,

Hank
