Brake light/dashlights and front parking lights

On my '94 Corolla, after noticing my brake lights would go on (by them self) while the car was parked in the driveway, I adjusted the brake light switch, so it is not as sensitive.

I now notice that when I step on brake pedal, my dash lights and front parking lights go on, this with the light switch turned off.

I never noticed if it did that before or not.

What am I missing, what is the cause ?
