Hi,
I recently bought Bentley T1 and my dealer feed the hydraulic sytem
with a common fluid.
I heard it is imperative to use Castrol RR363.
My dealer is going to change the fluid.

The old one spent 3 months in the system for about 500 miles.
Do you think it will be OK ?

Thanks

Antoine.

No - the RR363 has lubricating properties needed the hydraulic
braking system, especially the pumps used to maintain the high
pressure it uses. You've done the equivalent of running an engine with
cooking oil rather than motor oil for 500 miles. I'd have the system
inspected by someone qualified, with any bills going to your "dealer."
I take it this shop wasn't a RR dealership?
