Whoa!
More to come though.
Saw a note on the news this week that GM will
place its museum assets on public sale.
Exception will be for "one of a kind" specimens.
No particulars but, everything is becoming a
'cost center.' Sheltering and dusting off those
old darlings did have a price.

My first new car was a 64 Impala SS. 300hp 4 speed, tach on the
dash/column and was $3371 out the door. Tax and license. September
of 1963. Would love to have that car back. Sold it in 1968 for a POS
new Dodge Charger 383. Still one of Americas pretty cars. Still a
POS. The charger not the SS. >> Stay informed about: Barrett Jackson Bubble may have popped a 2nd time? |

Looks like the economy has really hurt Classic Car prices as of late.
When times were good, that car would have fetched another
$30-40,000 . >> Stay informed about: Barrett Jackson Bubble may have popped a 2nd time? |

Has anyone considered what these car sold for new? I think, in
general, they are selling for what they are worth.
