Hey everybody new to the forum but hope you can help me!! i have a 325 e46 convertible, 2002 model. i work away on ships and left the car standing for 2 and half months, when i got home and started it the DSC lights on the dash sayed on which mans ive got no traction control. i put it on a friends..

Hi, I read somewhere that, on the E36, you can get the service indicator to flash fault codes by pumping the accelerator pedal five times while switched off. Does this work, or is there a similar system for the E46 (318CI 2000 UK). Darren
« Darren: No. That was pre-OBD-II era cars.. starting in 1995/96 this ability was removed since the codes are much more extensive. »
