I have an 07 Tucson with Auto Climate Control. It makes a buzzing sound for about 1 min after starting the engine if its been sitting for an hour or so. Is there a little fan to help the sensor sniff the air temp? Or is it an error buzz with no error code. I can tap on the air control panel a..

Hello all, Very bizzare problem in my 82 300SD. About one month ago, I lost most of the heat from my auto climate control system. Last year, heat worked 100%! Checked the following: Good coolant level Working mono valve Swapped temperature regulator (Silver relay box) Swapped push button panels ..
« You've done more than the usual investigation. When you say the temp of the hoses is normal, which hoses are those? The heater hoses or the radiator hoses? What I'm getting at is what is the temp .. »
« TG, Both sets of hoses, meaning that the radiator hoses and heater core hoses had a similar temperature reading (not Ice cold heater hoses.) I am unsure which hose is the 'exit' hose from the heater.. »
« What TG was trying to establish is whether coolant is flowing through the heater core. There should be two hoses going through the firewall. One will be hot coolant going in, and other will be so.. »
« Have you done a voltage test on the leads that go to the mono valve? There should be about 12 volts there when the heat is on. This sounds like a defective mono valve. Are you sure the check valve .. »

We have a 2006 Forester Sport with Auto Climate Control which doesn't seem very "automatic". The temp overshoots far from the set point and the AC compressor (at least the indicator light) seems to come on as soon as the engine reaches running temp. Does anyone have any experience with this sy..
« I have read of some folks making moderately extensive mods in some Foresters to improve that function. I dunno if they apply to your model or not. The system in both my soobs works quite well most.. »
« What do you mean by 'The temp overshoots far from the set point '? Are you saying that the temperature in the car goes higher than what the temperature is set up for? How do you know? Most auto clim.. »
« One other thing that could cause some problems. There is a solar 'detector' on top of the dash (on one of my cars it is in the center, the other near the passenger side - both forward near the win.. »

I have a 1992 Corvette convertible - I went to start it today, and the automatic climate control has three horizontal lines across the readout and it is inoperative - what is the problem with it???
« The computer that controls the system has probably failed. I had a similar problem with my '91. $900 and six weeks later I got my car back from Bill Heard Chevrolet in Nashville. This is NOT a ch.. »
