Alarm Going Off

I have discovered the only way to unlock my '05 Elantra without the alarm going off is to use the remote. If I try to use the key, the alarm triggers. The owners manual says I should be able to use either the remote OR the key. Is there some secret handshake or something that I am missing? Okie
« if you lock the doors with the remote you have to unlock the doors with the remote but if you lock them with the key you can open it with either the key or the remote. Chris. »

I'm at work, and when I unlocked the door, the alarm went off. I don't have a keychain for it (I got it used, didn't even know it had an alarm). I'm assuming there's a chip in the key, but for some reason it isn't being recognized (tried both regular key and valet key). If not, a regular motion a..

02 Audi TT when the doors are shut the alarms goes off like crazy its not the battery its brand new i think it has to do something with the interior monitoring system because the light doesnt even turn on anymore.
