Well, your logic would hold true but in my case it doesn't, because twice I
took it to Acura dealers. The first one screwed up a perfectly good CV
joint, telling me that simple repacking of bearings and replacing the CV
boots would suffice. After a 300 mile trip, it was evident the CV joint was
bad. The second dealer took at CV axle off and replaced it with one that
was too dam short.
I don't know if these two dealers are exceptions, especially one right after
another. I do know that at one time Acura was a dam good car and the
dealers were dam good. I'm not so sure anymore. I've heard that Acura cars
have gone downhill a lot. Apparently so have the dealer service
departments. That's why I'm shopping around for a better car than the
present day Acura POSs.
