Acura TL Transmission Problems

My 2000 TL has 51,000 miles on it. The maintenance is up to date, the most recent being transmission fluid change that I had done at the dealer. I also responded to the recall which added a jet tube to the transmission to lubricate 2nd gear. Pressing ever so gently on the gas under light loads ..
« Could be a lot of things. But your right, probebly the fuelinjectors being blocked a bit. At your local garange you can get some fuel additives that could clear it. Also might consider some new spar.. »

Just bought a used (83K mi.) 2000 TL for cash and drove it about 100 mi - YOW!!! - third gear went wacko on me. I've owned a variety of Hondas and Acuras for the past 25 years and NEVER spent more than $1,000 TOTAL during the life of any of the vehicles we've owned. Imagine my surprise...... After..
