Hi all,

i was wondering if any of you can help me identify this problem my 99
corolla hesitates every most of the time i step on the gas as if it not
getting enough gas to the engine. i changed the spark plugs, spark plug
wires, added fuel injector fluid and it is still happeneing. since the
fuel filter is in the tank and is irreplaceable, how can i have my car
stop hesitating when i try to speed up?

thanks

Several things can cause the hesitation: incorrect base ignition timing;
incorrect spark plugs; some aftermarket spark plugs and spark plug wires;
dirty MAF sensor; manifold vacuum leak; leak in the snorkel between the MAF
sensor and throttle body; dirty fuel injectors; bad fuel pump; bad fuel
pressure regulator; clogged fuel filter; clogged fuel pickup; contaminated
fuel filter; incorrectly installed timing belt/chain.

Your best bet at resolving the issue is to have the vehicle diagnosed by a
Toyota dealer service department or competent independent technician.
