This problem cropped up the other day. When I really push on the gas,
to get the speed up quick, it almost feels like there is some
resistance, a "chugging" as the RPMs increas (doesn't seem to be a set
rpm range taht it happens at really). Noticable at all speeds if I
accelerate quickly. If I do a gentle acceleration, no problem, but if
I am say, getting on the Freeway, I'll really notice it. Any ideas on
this? Loose engine mount? Have an appointment witht the dealership
tomorrow, but just getting some responses. Thanks in advance

What does the chug-a-lug meter say? Come on do you really think that
description means anything to anyone reading it on an Internet newsgroup?

2.0L, VR6, 1.8T, manual, automatic... See what I mean???

Automatic or manual transmission? If it's an auto, is it downshifting when
you step on the gas?
