'99 ES300 CEL Error Code number P1133

Anyone know any details on this check engine light causing code? Called the
dealer, would only say it is a sensor problem. I want to do some homework
before I take it in if it is self repairable. '99 ES300 58Kmi

Had/have the same problem on my '99 ES300, which I bought as 2d owner w/ 21k
miles a year ago. At @ 27k, 'check engine' light came on, I panicked and took
in to a shop that specializes in Lexus repair for a readout.

The tech wrote the following on my invoice/service record: 'Bank (1) Sensor
(1) O2 sensor,' and said that the extended warranty will not cover, that I
could beg for mercy from Lexus to replace this faulty oxygen sensor, which he
said was 'mid line,' whatever that means. He emphasized that there was nothing
wrong with the engine, and the light seems to go out after @ 5-6 startups.

Given time constraints, I haven't bugged Lexus. Let me know what you do about
your problem!
