I have a 98 CRV with almost 108,000 miles on it. Last year it started doing
a wierd thing when the temps are down to freezing or below. I live about 5
miles from the highway and when I get onto the highway and engauge th cruse
control, the car slows down 5 to 7 MPH, then the transmission kicks down to
a lower gear, the car accelerates, and then maintains the speed I set it
for.
It only does it the first time I engage the cruse, and only in cold weather.
Any suggestions?
