98 Camry LE Noise- Please Help

The noise sounds like as if you are reversing a cassette tape. A faint noise that is pretty much inaudible if you turn on the stereo. The noise is intermittent, but only occurs when the wheel is turning. (accelerate or not). When you make a right or left turn, or when applying breaks, the pitch of the noise changes.

Apart from the noise, other functions appear to run smoothly.

Please offer me some suggestions as in what may the problem be and if I should bring it to the mechanics. Especially that I am planning to sale the car in a few months.
