97 chevy cavelier ODB code P1441

Post subject: 97 chevy cavelier ODB code P1441

i have a 97 cavelier with 2 warning lights on one is the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
and the other is ETS OFF LIGHT with that the scanner come up with the code
P1441 the guys at the chevy shop looked the code up and said "too much air
was getting in the intake" i check the hose for any cracks or something and
changed the filter but nothing happen can someone please tell me what the
problem is. o yeah the car runs normal so could it just b a sencor has
worn out

this is an acura group. You're asking about an old chevy. Ask in the
correct group. The best advice you're going to get here is to put tape
over the offending lights if they bother you and you're not willing to
get them fixed the normal way.

Of course there is. And a Chevrolet group can help you with that. Or
rec.autos.tech, which has many posters who specialize in domestic makes.
