Probably the heaters are burned out. I had a 97 and had burnouts three
times in the driver's seat and once in the passenger's. Apparently a
design defect as I never had the problem in my 92 and my 03 has not
given a problem in 14 months. Interesting to note that the 97 had only
one setting, while both of the others had high and low settings.
They are EXPENSIVE to replace -- all mine were done under warrantee.
