'97 Dakota 2WD Auto Trans

Still haven't fixed this truck. It came with a 3.9 V6 that died at
200,000 (more or less) miles. How difficult would it be to put a V8 in
it?

Can't imagine it would be too hard since the V8 was an option.....you'd
probably need the ECM from the V8 as well.

Someone else will have to speak to wether or not you could use the same auto
tranny.
