Post subject: 96 Pontiac GT Badly Bent Rim

I hit a huge pothole here in Florida, separated the tire from the rim and bent it pretty badly. I jumped on EBAY, thought I had found one for cheap, I got it and its for the standard Grand Am model. My wheels are factory chrome, and use the low profile tires (unfortunately). So I blew 80 bucks on a rim i dont need. My question: Must I buy a new factory chrome wheel? Im on a budget (like most people) and Im hearing some pretty frightening estimates from folks. Any advice is more than appreciated.
