Yea take the upper fan shroud bolts our and the 2 side bolts on both sides
then the 4 nuts that are on the fan itself... leave belt on it helps and
buy a book that helps you with repairs on this car.like the Haynes repair
manual you can get them at most autoparts stores.at least here in the US

there are no 4 nut set up on this year blazer. There is 1 large center
nut holding the fan in place. The idea of leaving the serp belt is a
valid one but beyond that what I do is get a large crecent wrench-
adjust it to the size of that center nut, put it on that 'center nut'
then 'crack' it strategically-counterclockwise with a hammer to jar it
loose. Once 'cracked' properly, it will spin off fairly easy. Reverse
procedure upon water pump re-installation. Merry New Year
